Children's Ministries

Missionettes, Royal Rangers and Rainbows are our Assemblies of God ministries to children ages 3 and up. Our boys and girls learn practical, Biblically based skills that can be applied to their daily lives and carried with them their whole lives. Meetings start during the regular Wednesday night Bible Study at 7:30 PM.

Missionettes - Girls grades K - 6th

Missionettes is a Christ-centered, curriculum-based program which teaches the Titus 2 principle of Christian women training young girls. Missionettes is a way to change the world - one girl at a time. Each of the six program divisions is geared toward a specific age/grade level.

The five-fold purpose of Missionettes is:

• To win girls to Jesus Christ through love and acceptance.
• To teach them to obey everything Jesus commanded us.
• To provide encouragement, support, and accountability through lasting Christian relationships.
• To provide an environment for girls to develop their gifts and abilities.
• To acquaint them with the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.

Rainbows - Girls and Boys ages 3-5

Climb aboard Noah's Ark and sail into the Rainbows Club program. Girls and boys ages 3 - 5 will love the badges they'll earn-Kangaroos, Ladybugs, Beavers, and more. They do full-color activity pages, crafts, stories and play with every lesson. There are 36 units in all (3 years).

• Club colors-Green and white, which stand for growth and purity.
• Pledge: "As a Rainbow, I will be a good helper, pleasing Jesus every day."
• Motto: "Rainbows are helpers."
• Scripture verse-"We are helpers." (2 Corinthians 1:24).

Royal Rangers - Boys Grades K - 6th

Royal Rangers is the highly successful national program of the Assemblies of God to minister to boys and young men ages 5-12 across the United States and internationally. Because the ones we reach will grow up to be fathers, leaders, businessmen, hard workers, creative thinkers and all the other people who will form our future, it is our desire to instill in them four fundamental foundations: Love of God, love of family, love of others and love of nature. Royal Rangers represents a new approach to Christian training for boys. It is a doorway to action and adventure for boys to develop them spiritually, physically, mentally, and socially.

Each of the five program divisions is geared toward a specific age/grade level. Indoor and outdoor activities include:

• Bible study
• Recreation, first aid, crafts and hobby skills
• Nature study
• Education
• Ceremonies and awards
• Trips and world missions
